I remember one day traveling to work in public train, it was July, 24th of 2008, after another frustrating experience with eBay, that I had time for a little self brainstorming.
eBay (or eBay customers respectively) suffer from two problems:
Ebay has an absolute monopoly,
and is the synonym for small business auctions on the Internet. There for it can manipulate the market, set the prices at its will and simply buy out every relevant competitor. Because eBay was first it now has the power to dictate prices and conditions. You don’t agree? Than get a life and find a competitor. Oh, wait, there isn’t really one!
Because eBay uses a centralized infrastructure
it is able to control every single bit of information their customers put online. It has the power at its fingerprints with all their servers and robot software. What ever you want to sell or buy, eBay can filter, control and veto. I am sure you all had similar experiences. “Sorry, Sir, the PC-Game you wanted to sell/buy yesterday is not allowed selling in your country. We had to cancel your auction. Don’t do this again! Have a nice day.”
This two deficiencies stated above are the foundation for my ideas.
The solution is pretty simple. A tool for selling everything and all time for free. A new open P2P-layer on the Internet for EVERY kind of business information, may it be selling, buying, auctioning, price gathering, marketing harvesting and whatever the future may bring and clever entrepreneurs and technicians will add.
I call it P2Pbazar, hence the domain. It will help you to sell and buy everything for free. From atomic pile to zippers. For free? And how can we make money with it? No problem, I will discuss it later.
